Jodi Marks: You know, and then many times we talk about improving your home, but sometimes you lot got to practise a little fleck of repair too. And I dear it when manufacturers put a kit together for me, so all I got to practice is come and pluck information technology off the shelf, go home, and make my repair. Especially my wall repairs.
Now DAP has come out with a great product. This is information technology opened up, I opened it up to show you what all comes in the kit. At present this isn't anything new. DAP came out with DryDex several years ago. And when you apply it, it goes on pink, but then when it dries and it's ready to sand, you know information technology's set up considering information technology turns white.
Some other matter though that comes in this kit that I like, is a petty putty pocketknife. Yous also get a lilliputian sanding pad. Just this is where the magic begins. It'due south got a trivial peel and stick aluminum adhesive here that you stick right over the hole. So all y'all have to practice is put this over the pigsty. And yous can go up to a three-inch hole repair on this kit.
And so what you practise is so y'all take your spackle and you spread it out, smooth it out, feathering information technology around the edges. Allow it dry, sand it. You should probably go ahead and practise a 2nd glaze. Let that dry, sand information technology. And and then you'll be ready to prime number and paint in no fourth dimension.
